Rope Acesss

Absafe are an accredited IRATA Member company. Industrial rope access has been developed by IRATA in the last 25 years to a point where it is the chosen means of access for much of the work in the offshore oil and gas industry as well as a range of projects in construction, civil engineering, the built and natural environment and much more. Its success is based on thorough training and strict work guidelines that deliver an unrivalled safe working record year after year
Confined Space
We supply highly experienced crews for works within confined space with state of the art equipment and PPE as well as either assuming all procedural responsibility or fitting in with the clients systems. We have everything from powered respirators to SCBA and long line breathing systems designed to put a large rope access team 50m down a silo and have them work comfortably and expediently.
We specialize in bulk material blockage and silo cleaning including use of Cardox explosive gas systems.

Helicopter Access
Absafe are highly experienced in helicopter exit works and advanced rigging methods for aerial crane work. In partnership with Jayrow we can provide helicopter lifting services from 1 to 9 ton and have successfully carried out gantry install and helicopter exits to Cooling towers at both Yallourn and Loy Yang as well as installation of temporary access gantries to the Orica chimney stack Port Kembla. Absafe carries out all procedural implementation including supplying fully trained aircrew. Our ‘exit at height’ methods are built around IRATA principles and are designed to be utilised by IRATA operatives.
