Work description: Demolition and removal of 16 concrete support piers and 5 lateral supporting piers. Site welding of new steel supporting brackets as per engineering specs. Pipe pressure cleaning and protective wrapping application.
Notable fact: Absafe internal engineering designed and fabricated 6 mobile lifting frames for pipe spot lifting and support during demolition and steel bracket preparations. Development of unique safe working methods, hazard identification and rescue plans as the work site was in remote dense bushland. EMP plans created, maintained and supervised throughout project life to ensure environment integrity.Project finished both within time and budget.
